I was cleaning up and putting stuff away tonight,
in between not so much working.
I gathered my loot together and took a snapshot of it.
Nothing valuable. Nothing fancy. Books and tee shirts, a scarf, a set of funny kitchen towels, a pendant from a cut rock, some clementines and a little box of European cookies, wool socks, hand lotion, lavender soap with organic additions, a tortilla warmer ...
I do not know precisely what I will do with the tortilla warmer.
Warm tortillas, possibly.
Everyone needs a holiday tortilla warmer to make the world brighter.
In this season I hope you got your own soap with moss in it and tortilla warmer or cardinals at the bird feeder or an unexpected call from an old friend or a candle lit in your own window shining out at the world.
