I don't know about you, but I'm still recovering from Christmas Dinner! My brother and his family are vegetarian, and everyone is a gourmet cook (including his son)—so the making the feast has everyone in the kitchen (I contributed the Guinness chocolate cake—alas, it didn't last long enough for a photo!)
We started with an assortment of local artisanal cheeses,then moved on to carrot-ginger soup, risotto patties, kale salad and stuffed mushrooms. Somehow we all managed to find room for the cake and traditional Swiss cookies made of gingerbread filled with marzipan!
The evening was overflowing with laughter and love.
