Sherrie, here, with an update on the godkitten, a little orphan I found on the 4th of July. For the full story, go here: A new arrival . The Wenches immediately dubbed him their "godkitten," so now he has 8 doting aunties (and I'm still agonizing over what to name him!).
When I first brought the kitten home, he was 3 weeks old and weighed 9 ounces. I'm feeding him kitty formula every 4 hours and by the time I took him to the vet 4 days later, he weighed 12 ounces. As of today, he is 14 ounces and growing like a weed!
The kitten spends a lot of time playing on my desk, and I believe he's a fledgling writer because he can't stay away from the mouse or keyboard. (Translation: he spends a lot of time thundering across my keyboard)
The final picture shows him attacking the mouse. He's fascinated by the thing, and never misses an opportunity to bite and subdue it.
I'll be posting periodic kitten updates on Sundays, so watch this space for the next month or so, as we chart the growth (and antics!) of this little rascal.
