NEWSLETTER CONTEST
Those of you who subscribe to our newsletter already know about the contest we're running in order to get feedback. The contest is still open and the winner--chosen from those who submit suggestions/comments regarding the newsletter--will receive a $10 gift certificate.
We'd like your feedback regarding newsletter content. What do you want to see in the newsletter? Is it too long? Too short? Boring? Interesting? What do you like? Dislike? Would you like to see pictures in the newsletter? Do you use the links to view Wench books or Wench posts, or are the links a waste of time? Do you even read the newsletter? (And if you hit the delete button without reading it, tell us why.) Do you like the short blurbs in the Current Books section? Be specific, and don't worry about hurting feelings. We want your feedback. Please share your thoughts by clicking on "comments" at the end of this post. The winner's name will be posted next Sunday, the winner chosen from the commenters.
To subscribe to the newsletter, click here, or click on the link in the sidebar to the right, under Word Wenches E-newsletter.
I'd like to take this time to extend Valentine's wishes to my bosses, the Wenches, and to all the blog readers who visit this site. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! May your life be filled with romance.
Happy Valentine's Day, to my favorite Freelance Editor and best-est of friends. I love you, Sherrie!

I'd love to see more colors.........also old pic's of way back when.......some jokes would be cool.........Maybe now and then throw in some pic's of clothing worn in Regency era's, etc. Historical articles.......
Sometimes it is too long......

The content of the news letter is just fine. The only change I could think of, would be to make it more visually appealing. Pictures, borders around sections, just something to dress it up a little. There is enough information, but not too much.
Keep up the good work.

I do enjoy pictures and would love to see them in the newsletter. Links to everyone's website would be great too and links to current books and descriptions. Also what books will be released in the next few months would be nice too.

Happy belated Valentine's day to you all!
I like the newsletter but I do agree that it needs a bit to break it up. It rather runs together when it's longer. Covers of books, anecdotes, thing like that are always fun. Current research books you're using, links to fun sites...

I enjoy reading the newsletter but tend to just skim a lot of it that simply repeats names of people who won books or names of other writers who visited or will visit soon. Maybe you could limit the announcement of winners to those who haven't contacted you to receive their winnings (another chance for them to respond)? I love the idea of links to the authors' own web sites and upcoming books, although doesn't the regular site do that?
