Please ask her about Madensky Square, which I love most of all.

I've heard some readers complain that because of the nature of the various assignments that Gernot is given by the emperor, all in the background, the HEA is compromised by the knowledge that WWI is about to break over their heads.

Thank you so much for having Eva as a guest! She is one of my all-time favorite writers. Her "Madensky Square" is one of the best books I've ever read. Her others are also up there with me.

Please tell her how much she is loved and I hope she is feeling well and happy.

Looking at covers again. I have to confess that I forgot I was supposed to blog. (Spent the weekend at a Huna workshop -- Hawaian spirituality, though not, alas, in Hawaii, plus so many things coming together for our upcoming move to England.) So I've dug a post of mine from the very early days of Word Wenches. Covers are always worth revisiting. Here's what I asked the last time. Do you pick up books because of covers, or avoid them because of covers? Do covers affect how you read a book? I'm ashamed to admit I have to say yes to all three....
