While the other wenches are brilliant essayists with library shelves groaning under tomes of historical costumes and politics, I have developed the fine art of nattering. My bookshelves might groan, but it’s with the weight of books on everything from Manga to Druids, by way of Mars and black holes, with a right turn through King Arthur and California. Apparently, I suffer from intellectual ADD.
My blogs tend to reflect my mental meanderings, and for those of you paying attention, you’ll notice that my mind wandered so far today that it didn’t return until evening, too late for my daily readers.
I will have you note that I worked on creating a new proposal for a really weird book, researched the next historical, and carved my way through several hundred pages of a copyedit on the next contemporary. I also approved a book cover and answered two tons of email (although not all) and did a lot of whining. What I didn’t do was write a blog! 
So, I lack focus. I’m going to apply my lack of focus to creating a dialogue between all of us that should show up, knock wood, this weekend. We’re still learning how to do the fancy stuff that other blogs use regularly, but we’re all busy and technology does not come easily.
