Peggy

I read every one of these books, each is a favorite author. I still missed about 4. Didn't disappoint me just reminded me it was time for a reread. What a Pleasure it will be to delve into a loved book, Thank You for the quiz. Re-delving (probably not a word LOL but it should be)will lead to rereading the entire series. I know, I know, I am the bain of my favorite authors.

Anne Gracie

Peggy, don't apologize — making up the quiz had the same effect on me. I've now got a pile of old favorites sitting beside my bed,w aiting for the umpteenth re-read. I could easily have extended it to twenty lords or more — I had to miss out on heaps of my faves.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Vonnie Hughes

Different, Anne. Thoroughly enjoyed it though I got three wrong.

Anne Gracie

Thanks for dropping by, Vonnie. Glad you enjoyed it.

Margot

I got all of them except the Julie Garwood one, since I've never read any of her books.

Actually, I haven't read the ones by Johanna Lindsay or Elizabeth Lowell, either. But the Lindsay one I've seen discussed a number of times, and I've read the wrong answers for Lowell, so I still got them right

Janice

I only got 7 out of 10, but that was in spite of having read only 3 of the books in the group. I have no idea how that happened. Fun quiz, thank you.

Anne Gracie

Margot, they're oldies, but goodies — worth reading, I think.

Janice, I deliberately mixed golden oldies with some more recent gems. But I think some good deductive work was going on to get 7/10 when you'd only read 3 of the books.

Beebs

8 out of 10, wrong on numbers 1 and 3 but I haven't read those Heyer books or any Julie Garwood.....yet :)

Great fun, Anne! Missing Lords??? The only one I can think of is Devil Cynster, one of the very first rakish Lords I ever read and one I frequently return to :)

Anne Gracie

Beebs, I love Devil's Bride, too, and in fact I had a question about him, but when I was listing alternatives, I found it was too hard to come up with a definitive clue that applied to Devil and not the other Cynsters. In the end, I left him off the list and will save him for another day

And I think you might enjoy Venetia. Damerel is a very fine rakish hero and the humor is delicious.

Patricia Rice

Fantastic quiz, Teacher Anne! My memory won't allow me to recall names so I didn't even attempt to score, but you brought back fond memories of some fantastic books.

Janga

What fun, Anne! I love book quizzes, and this one reminded me of many of my favorite romances. I got nine of the ten correct, not too shabby since I've never read the Elizabeth Lowells.

I thought about additions, and the lord who came immediately to mind was Bey Malloren, Marquess of Rothgar. I recalled many other favorite heroes as well, a long list of lordly one but also a surprising number who aren't lords.

Beverly Abney

I only missed one, but I guessed at a couple of others. Some of the books were read long ago and I don't remember characters names as well as I remember authors and titles. I enjoyed the quiz.
Bev Abney

Joanna

Enjoyed the quiz, missed 2, numbers 3 & 8 because I have read neither. Intend to get them to read.

NancyS.Goodman

I have to go back and read yor books Anne, I can't remember #10! Bad, bad sign for me!

Kay

Wonderful quiz...missed three. It did bring back lots of memories.

Anne Gracie

Janga, yes, Rothgar is a superb hero, I agree. As I said, I had to miss out on heaps. The ones I chose were not so much the top ten as the ones I liked who I could think of a good quick question for -- in 150 characters or less (which was the restriction of the software I was trying to use.)

And yes, many great heroes aren't lords at all.

Anne Gracie

Beverley, you did very well — nobody has picked all ten yet. That surprises me — I didn't think it would be as hard as it is, but I suppose the mix of golden oldies and recent gems makes it tough.

Joanna, I hope you enjoy the authors you missed. Thanks for dropping by.

Anne Gracie

Nancy I'm laughing here — I don't expect people to know my books — it was a toss-up between two others and I couldn't decide and a friend said, put in one of your own. So I did.

Kay, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for joining in.

Donna

Fun quiz! it made me realize that I've missed out on some wonderful readable rakes! Must remedy that. Happy New Year!!

Anne Gracie

Ahh, Donna, yes, there's nothing like a good rake to get you reading.
Glad you enjoyed the quiz.
All the best for 2013.

Faith @ Demon for Details

Awwwww, this was SUCH fun! I did pretty well, too.

DemonforDetails

If you enjoy Regencies and Regency historicals, you'll LOVE this quiz!

Linda

That was fun but i scored most dismally. Made me want to go back & re read all the books!

Jo Banks

Six out of ten not bad since some of the titles I read way way back must unearth them and re read and some were pure guess's!!

Linda Hays-Gibbs

I missed two and I think I did not read those or it was so long ago my memory flagged. This was fun. I love all these authors so much.
Thanks,
Linda Hays-Gibbs
