Anne Gracie

Ooh, yummy, thank you Cara/Andrea! I've seen this cake on Nigella, I think and wondered how it would taste. Now I have a personal endorsement, I'll try it.

I love family and/or friend parties where everyone brings something. Such a lovely variety and no big stress for one person.

Happy New year.

Pearl

What a delectable cake. I enjoy unique desserts this time of year. One of my ultimate favorites is a millefeuilles. Happy New Year and best wishes.

Cara Elliott/Andrea Penrose

Anne and Pearl, I can definitely reccoemnd the cake—it's delicious. And thanks for the good wishes, Pearl. May the new year brings you lots of good things—including books!

Sherrie Holmes

Sherrie, here. Cara/Andrea, I'm a big foodie, and love baking and collecting recipes. This Christmas my sister and I tried out several new recipes, and all of them were fabulous. The pumpkin custard was delicious, but we all agreed that the cranberry cobbler was to die for. It's going in our recipe files as a keeper. I made a big batch of the cobbler in a large casserole dish, and my brother-in-law ate 1/3 of it in one sitting! It was that good.

I'll have to add the Guiness chocolate cake to my list of recipes to try!
